My thoughts about GIMP

GIMP is the best free photo editing due to the large number of features that it supports. You can not have the same characteristics as the other popular programs such as Adobe Photoshop, but the free money and a lot of tools certainly makes it comparable.

Probably one of my favorite features is simply the way the interface is customizable. Windows> Dockable, you can open one of the panels and move it anywhere on the screen you want, even if you have multiple monitors. This means that the history and cancel degraded component, for example, for opening and any part of the screen attached to make it easier to use these functions.

In general, because GIMP is not too difficult to use, and there are many useful tools, is well suited for beginners and advanced users.
